Visited this museum in November 2016- the entrance fee was minimal and the staff were really friendly. There are 5 floors of modern art- and a really diverse selection of art works to look at- following different era's and movements. You get a free coffee with the entrance fee, which was delicious, the cafe is small but lovely. Took just over... More

An old building has been converted in a modern and original way. Each floor features a different period of 20th/21st century Slovak art. The coffee shop is a pleasant space for a mid visit break. A drink seems to be provided free if you pay full price to enter.

Different Slovak artists on 5 floors but there could be more information in English about the artworks. It is located in the very center, the architecture inside is interesting.

Covering the period roughly 1900 to 1960 (?) plus a good temporary exhibition, this was very enjoyable hour and a half visit. There is a sort of lounge where you can get a drink although the request for a black coffee (in English and German) resulted in a white one!

A perfectly rennovated Building of five floors that become home of a beautiful collection of 20th century Slovakian art. Mostly painting but also some sculpture. Its part is an small cafe and a nice shop for some souvenirs. Admiring that I am mad about art and especially modern art, the existence of this gallery made me very happy. Entrance was... More
