This town is quaint and distinctive of central to east European. Littered with small statues, restaurants and historical monuments. Distinctively European but with its own quirks. 1-2 days site seeing.

Bratislava was a pleasant surprise. It turned out to be the highlight of our cruise down the Danube. The castle has a spectacular setting with views down the river and across to Austria, but the old town is more interesting, consisting of pedestrian walkways and squares bordered by buildings of considerable charm and antiquity. The residents are very friendly, and... More

it will take just 2 hours to visit all old town. You can drink ice coffee. there can be sudden rain showers. so you had better tke an umbrella with you. on the walls you can see lots of street arts.

Here from Scotland for few days break with my husband before the madness of a big family Christmas. Place is very pretty and people very friendly. Old town more expensive but worth wandering around. Market cute a buildings grand. Lots of nice places to get out of the cold and hot chocolate plentiful

The best way to view the old town is on one of the cities walking tours. There are a lot of interesting buildings, squares, statues, coffee houses and bars.

Two days was plenty to explore the old town. Stop in at the I Love Bratislava souvenir store for a great variety of locally made porcelain tea and coffee cups.

Bratislava is a dream come true for those seeking a slice of heritage with a dash of modern. Reach early from Vienna, or Budapest, or Prague. Spend the morning in the modern part of the city. Come back to the Old Town for a tour of Churches, castle; amble the lanes and by lanes to discover hidden gems. Fathom at... More

Real good Thai food & international cocktails, the City is most popular in SK with a wide range of bars, pubs and restaurants. The architecture is old with some modern style art highlights.

Nice to walk around old town - not too busy on a cold February day! Lots of coffee shops and places to eat, as well as pretty buildings. Certainly much more touristy than other areas of Bratislava but good way to spend a couple of hours.

It is a compact old town and therefore easy to wander around and take in the architecture which is stunning, wander along the banks of the Danube and enjoy the cafes restaurants shops and pubs.Perfect to while away the hours.
