Old Town Bratislava is interesting, easy and fun to walk around. My wife and I had about 4 hours to enjoy the city, so admittedly we didn't get to spend a lot of time in any single location. Walk up to Bratislava Castle and to Slavin, if you are capable, for good exercise, great views and tremendous history. The old... More

It was cold, foggy and depressing as me and my partner made our way toward the old town. We passed old creepy communist buildings, drunk homeless people. We tripped multiple times on badly made pavements. It seemed like a nightmare not worth the 100€ we payed. However the closer we got to the old town, the further we got away... More

We travelled in January therfore the town was quiet for tourists whch made it very pleasant for walking around. We arrived in the snow which made it like a winter wonderland. Lots to do and see for a weekend break.

Bratislava...the ugly and poor sister of Prague. The city is aspiring to be a european city... but its still far away from that. The old town is nice and clean but its little bit lazy and sleepy. Not much to see frankly. Prices like in Vienna but not much to give...

Most interesting area of the city. Its obvious that it being the old town, it will shed some light on the history of this city. Besides, Clubs ,restaurants, shopping areas, can all be found here.

Certainly worth a visit of a few hours - or more. Take time to visit the quaint narrow streets, and to browse in the many shops. Plenty of restaurants, bars etc. The Old Town is very much one of the most popular areas in Bratislava with tourists.

You can not go wrong with walking the old town. The walk around the old town is enjoyable, there are plenty places for you to stop and have a drink or a meal as well as souvenir shops :)

We came with no expectations and ended with Bratislava being one of our favourite stops. The old town is quaint and walkable with many restaurants, bars and pubs. Would recommend one of the free walking tours to help appreciate the history of the city. It isn't big and a day or 2 is enough. Prices are fairly inexpensive in the... More

It's a nice place with beautiful buildings. The cons is it has many pick pockets who aimed at tourist with young children too. They know we are busy with kids and thus we became their easy target. Saw 3 female pick pockets when we entered the restaurant and they followed up and pretend to be looking for seats. One of... More

Bratislava is not the most beautiful city I have ever been to. It doesn't have many prominent features, to tell the truth. The castle is like a commonly built house with 4 peaks on the top hill and no more. Some quirky statues, in short, are statues placed in some unexpected places. One of them is named Man at work,...
