We came here in December on our road trip from Budapest to České Budějovice since it was conveniently located and had a nice dinner around here.

We felt like we had the city to ourselves for most of the weekend. It was a nice city to explore and we imagine it's much busier during peak tourist season. Easily walkable with plenty of interesting shops and restaurants.

Such a picturesque, clean and beautiful place! Various architectural styles, impressing buildings, fountains and palaces, cozy cafes and local small restaurants surround the downtown. Any visitor can have fun and spend nicely his/her time around.

While walking through the city it feels like you are back in 18thcentury with the baroque architecture, small reserved old shops and houses that kept the atmosphere of the old time alive. The castle , the bridge over danube , all main squares and statues...More
