This beautiful art noveau church is something different, reminds of Gaudi. Very different from most churches in neighbouring countries. Extremely strking in its surroundings of functional buildings from the socialist times. Took a peak inside, pretty but the real beauty is outside.

We went there to see it after reading about it online. It is a beautiful, small and worth a visit definitely. We went there on a day when it was closed. It is slightly off the beaten track in mostly residential area but well worth a visit if you are in Bratislava.

Did not take long to walk here and really glad we did. We did not go inside, but the outside of the church is just fabulous and very unusual.

It will get your attention, I suggest you start your sight seeing at this church if you coming from south (Prague). built in the early twentieth century (the church was consecrated on 11 October, 1913). dedicated to St. Elizabeth - hence the official name 'Saint Elizabeth's church'. Both the interior and exterior of the church are painted in shades of... More

A little off the beaten track, the blue church is a stunning building. It's surroundings aren't great, with a building site adjacent and some graffiti close by but the church itself is beautiful. It wasn't open the day we visited but apparently normally is, so i cant comment on what the inside is like. The outside however looked amazing against... More

It is consecrated to Elisabeth of Hungary, daughter of Andrew II, who grew up in the Pressburg... More

Beautiful and unusual church construced at the beginning of the 20th century (1909 - 1913) in Modern Style (Sezession, Jugendstil, Art Nouveau) as a part of the school still existing close to the church. Is situated in the city center but you have to know how to get there, is hidden between the houses. Have a look on the opening... More

A must see if you visit Bratislava. It was hidden from the regular public tourist spots, but if you know of it's existence you would definitely find it. The blue color is very unique and beautiful. Very recommended spot. Very unusual
