Stand in the square outside at mid-day and listen to the famous carillon playing tunes collected and composed by the town's most famous son, Zoltán Kodály. Then take a peek inside at the magnificent murals in the Council Chamber, depicting scenes from Hungarian history.

My favourite building in Kecskemét, with the roof, the bells and its style... it needs some renovation, though. A kedvenc kecskeméti épületem: gyönyörű a tető, a harangjáték, a stílusa... bár ráférne egy felújítás.
