Easy to find on the banks of the Danube, a very well made and detailed bronze that perches on the fence. Lots of people stopping to have selfies taken with it.

On the Danube Promenade in Budapest - when you are walking you shall find - sooner or later this statue - the statue of Marton Laszlo ... form the 1970's ... and it is said that the inspiration for this was one of the daughters of the sculpture.
Overall interesting - over the years it become a landmark and typically you have to wait for other tourist to finish their photos in order to take yours

This is the best spot for a photo on the Danube promenade, with the Buda Castle in the background. We had to wait for four others to finish taking their photos on our weekend visit.

Walking along the riverfront of the Danube River I chanced upon this great statue, one of several great statues in this area.
Little Princess Statue was the work of sculptor Laszlo Marton ,its a prize winning statue created in 1972 the original statue is on show in the Hungarian National Gallery ,the statue was actually inspired by one of the daughters of Laszlo Marton who loved to dress up ,its a wonderful statue that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along the Danube Promenade.

The hop on Hop off bus makes life easier in Budapest. The ticket includes a free boat trip on the Danube. We did the day night and twilight trip (3 times). the bus takes you to the main attractions. Buy the 3 day ticket from the red umbrella street vendors and not at the hotel. The street vendors are cheaper. There is a new Holocaust museum near the Pava st. Synagogue, very well presented. Go there!

Created by László Marton - a Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor in 1972. This statue is a homage to one of his daughters who played dress up in bathrobes. Her father used this image and call it Little princess. It is located on the bank of the Danube, which has the No#2 tourist tram running behind it.
It is a playful little statue which I enjoyed and is worth a visit when in the area.
It has nice views over the Danube and up to the castle and the fisherman's bastion.

It is a nice little statue along the Danube River. There are so many statues in Budapest and it is just one of it. Nothing special.

Nice statue along The Danube Embankment which represents a father's daughter. Has impressive views of the castle behind it. Nearby is another statue The Girl With The Dog Statue.

As part of our walking tour of Pest we got to see this. Delightful statue but not necessarily worth a detour. There is a mini statue of a balloon dog nearby (I thought it was a dog turd at first)
