A rather short (20 minutes one way, 300 meters) but very fun tour. The guide was great and catered for both Hungarians and foreigners (in english). Would recommend if you have not been caving before. Very accessible to everyone as well.

Not sure why this experience is not rated higher. The cave tour was spoken in English and the guide, a cave enthusiast, was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and her personalized attention.

The tour took us about 30 minutes and the guide told the story of the cave in both Hungarian and English. There are several caves in the Budapest area, but we settled with this one. It is a "young" cave where the thermal water has...More

Not here for sure ... but I recollect there were other caves around Budapest which gives you a more authentic caving experience - not sure if you can actually dig for minerals there though! Check out PÁLVÖLGYI CAVES
