Exit game? Room escape? Puzzle solving game? Team building? Having fun with others? The love of enclosure. And of course the catarsis what you feel when you are already out. This is the transplantion of the well known adventure and point & click games into the reality, where the searching, the puzzle solving and the excitement remains, but the experience becomes touchable and the place is real. You need to find real objects, combine and use them with which across the dozens of logical and ability games you get nearer to the final puzzle which gives you the key to escape. You have one hour in this environment closed from everyday life, where the ancient surviving and problem solving instincts inside of you can revive. You need to work in team, watch every details, every hint in the rooms to accomplish the game. Prepare yourself, we created the puzzles in a way that you need to use your brain capacity on the maximum level, to push your limits and of course to feel all right behind the padlocks.

It is hard to write a lengthy review on this without giving too much away. You pay afterwards and get stuck into the game as soon as the door shuts behind you. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone on a trip to Budapest. We did this the morning before we caught the plane home... More

You enter through a black metal gate then a second door. Go up the stairs and enter the room, you are not greeted by anyone which adds to the mystique. A piece of paper is there for you to read and then the game begins. It is a case of finding objects dotted throughout the room . We were a... More

We chose this escape rooms having read previous reviews. Not really suitable for 5 participants...several times 2 members of our party had nothing left/not enough room to effectively contribute. We asked for help, and annoyingly this wasn't actually helpful (!) so we did not manage to get out in time. We left quite disgruntled - we were most definitely on... More

We did the Wickerwood room as a family of four and had a great time. We are not escape room experts and needed a few extra minutes to get out, which the host graciously granted us. The whole set up is great and better than in the US, where we did our first one. Definitely recommend!!

I love escape rooms and been to many in the world, and this one is THE BEST one ive ever been. I tried a few in Budapest, and this is the best. The idea of the room is trying to escape from an old apartment. The room is amazing, not easy but not super hard, and it is possible to... More

I went here with my mum and little sister. We had such a fun hour trying to escape. Every room with its own unique challenges and yet interconnected to the other rooms. It was the first time we did something like this and we highly recommend you visit here if you're staying in Budapest.

One of the better escape rooms we have played and also one of the cheaper ones!! The Wicklewood room was really enjoyable not too easy and not too difficult. The start of the game is really unique, definitely give this one a go!

We did 9 escape rooms during our 6 day stay in Budapest and this was our team's favourite! I don't want to say too much as I don't want to give anything away but I highly recommend the Wicklewood mystery! 5*, thanks!!

Awesome Escape Room! We escaped with 9 minutes left on the clock and the game was exciting untill the last seconds. We played it with two people, but it's also very suitable for larger groups with or without children. Well thought through puzzles and very friendly staff. We would definately recommend this room.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
