We went here on a Sunday afternoon and had a really good time . Although it was made easier due to my Hungarian speaking brother-in-law I think I would have managed in English. Not expensive and managed two winners. On the Friday night we also went here to watch the trotting races with carts.

It was a nice program to see the races, galloping. The field was nice and modern. It is also a nice program for a rainy day. I guess this day-out trip was pretty much undervalued among foreigers and locals but once you got there, you could feel the atmosphere and you would be carried away... :-) You could bet sorry... One of the funnest ways to start off your New Year's Eve is a trip to the Budapest horse racing track. Gather a group of close friends and try your luck one last time in the old year betting on horse trotting races. A couple pieces of advice: Dress warmly, good hat and warm socks and shoes. It is all... More

Went here on sat afternoon in October last year and loved every moment. It was free to get in and the place was dead but still enjoyable. Beer was really cheap and mingled with the locals. Defiantly worth a visit what ever your doing in buda
