Nice old bridge

Connecting Pest with Buda over the Danube, between the Fövàm-tér in Pest and the St.Gellért-tér in Buda. Nice view from the bridge to the Royal Castle and to the Gellért Hill.

It is one of several bridges between Buda and Pest and lovely at night due to the lights. Best viewed from the Pest side of the river.

Our hotel was very close to the bridge on the Pest side so we walked across it a few times. Amazing to sit on the bridge and watch the sun set on the Danube.

We loved this bridge best of all. As you can see, the light-green paintwork and wrought ironwork and design is lovely to look at close-up and young people were sitting on the bridge 'rails' chatting and having picnics - making a very chilled atmosphere. Amazing to think this had been bombed to pieces during World War 2.

Lovely to walk across the bridge and see the views of the Danube and the two sides of Budapest. Similar to Paris - lovers have put their names on padlocks and attached to bridge and thrown the keys into the river.

a simple bridge, nothing impressive, however you can check it on your walks around Budapest. Most probably you will pass it without noticing it

We saw people sitting on the bridge, catching the sunset with sandwiches and wine. A nice place to chill out.

Another of numerous bridges in Budapest. A bridge affording nice views over the Danube but it looks spectacular at night time, especially if you take the Danube cruise at night.
