I got a set of tea cups and saucers. It's too beautiful to pick out from. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it.

There are at least four of these in Budapest (I went to three). The largest and best is not too far from St. Stephen's. You will not see this range of Herend porcelain anywhere else, and the prices are better than in the U.S.

There are two stores that sell directly from the iconic Herend artisan Factory. All the prices are significantly less than US prices for Herend pieces--SIGNIFICANTLY. Herend Porcelain is known the world over and when you visit the Herend site and see all the beautiful porcelain you can see why. It is well worth the effort to visit,most interesting

The store has all of the beautiful Herend pieces and the sales people were very nice and helpful. But be prepared the prices are very high and there are no discounts. It's fun to browse and see so many of their porcelain pieces in one...More

this store had loads of Herend...salesperson spoke English...although it is labeled "factory" does not mean outlet or discounted prices.

stumbled upon this store on my 1st visit to Budapest. The ladies were fantastic in store with providing detailed info on all the pieces we were looking at. certainly didn't plan on purchasing but far to nice to leave without a piece or two..
