As earlier recezent I have trouble with this place. This is a very cool place but completely in disarray. I think I saw them only begin to renovate. I hope that it will regain its luster, as it looks very average at the moment.

Kodály’s apartment in Budapest. The personal items, the furniture and the décor give this museum a very personal feel to it. It felt like he'd popped out to the shops and would be back very shortly. Apparently you need to call ahead and make arrangements for a visit to this museum but it is worth it! I happened to show up the same time when an Italian group came and I was allowed to tag along with them. The tour guide (a very attractive young lady) gave the tour in English and that was translated to... More

Please be aware that I never got into the museum, one thing that we did not realize and did not see on any of the travel books our sites is that u need to call two days ahead of going here to set up an appointment. Don't just show up.
