While we couldn't see the auditorium, the Royal Stairs, the bar and other parts of the Opera House was a good visit. We were treated to a short performance by two of the singers on a stairway landing, a truly memorable experience.

I'd wait and see this once the construction is over. Can't really see much in the current state. It's going to be beautiful I'm sure hen it's finished.

Many famous opera solist take different parts in Budapest national opera. Awesome experience if you like such stuff. Personally I liked it more then Wien's one, since it's much more stylish and much less touristy.
