Fun place to visit if you have never been to an ice bar before, which I haven't so I've not got anything to compare it to! Quite expensive for what it is. Like other travellers have mentioned you do have to pay for entrance as well as a 'cocktail' which is more like a generous shot!! Very tasty all the... More

Stopped here for a couple of drinks whilst in Budapest for the Christmas markets. The ice bar is a bit on the small side but was a exactly what we expected. Few drinks few giggles!!

This is the first and only Ice Bar that I have been to. To be honest I don't really think it was worth the money. It was a really great experience to have and I absolutely do not regret it, but it is sort of small inside, and I was the only person there at the time... They should have... More

I have visited a few ice bars and this is by far the worst. I visited with my boyfriend, and we were approached by the sales rep in the Main Street in the town, and we decided to go in, the sales rep took us into the sales office (which at the time we were led to believe this was... More

I mean you literally go into a giant freezer. I got the #7 and it was pretty good and the ice sculptures are fun to look at. All in all its fun to say u went and maybe hang out with a large group but I wasnt overly impressed

We had never been to an ice bar before and paid for the entrance and one cocktail. In HUF the price is hard to complain about. The staff are really friendly and helped us into our ponchos and gloves. The bar itself was really cool (pun intended), with ice sculptures and mood lighting. Overall though slightly disappointing if you are... More

If you've never been to an Icebar it's worth a visit, but it's small and you'll only be there as long as it takes to neck a couple of drinks and take a few photos. If you've been to one of the bigger ones (London/Amsterdam) then give it a miss to avoid disappointment.

First, the place is very very small .Second is too expensive for the duration you are going to spend inside as it is too cold .Third , the coats and the gloves they give to you to wear inside are all dirty and their smell are horrible but it was in August and we didn't have anything heavy to wear inside... We went in for 45 mins, 15 euros each for 4 shots. It was brilliant, really enjoyed it and nice choice of shots, The Eskimo kiss was really good! We went in with friends, lots of photos taken, staff are really friendly, even took our photo behind the bar! Almost froze after 40 mins but think that's cause I am... More

Visited a few Ice Bars now and they seem to be getting smaller. This one is okay and the staff were pleasant enough. €8 for entry and 2 drinks. The coolest thing was an original prop of Hans Solo frozen in carbonite from the Empire Strikes Back!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
