My husband and I had such a worthwhile experience with Andrew as our host at the Budapest Central Market--we did just the Market Tour. We arrived early in Budapest for a river cruise, and although this tour was included in our cruise itinerary I knew it would just be a walk through—which it was, mid day on a Saturday when... More

I can't say enough about this experience. It was awesome from start to finish. We met Andrew at the market (basket in hand, as stated) and proceeded to instantly hit it off. He was fun, engaging and has impeccable English. He gave us a tour of the market as we sampled various delicacies, enough to make us very full before... More

Great experience and you won't regret spending a day doing the course. We did the market tour first and I would thoroughly recommend it, we discovered two areas of the market we had never visited before and got lots of tasters. My recommendation is that you plan some time in your day for a nap afterwards as we were shattered... More

From the initial phone call to our departure, Agnes and Andrew were friendly, professional and accommodating. Agnes asked what we would like to learn how to cook and Andrew had all of the ingredients, including wine and nibbles and his huge smile, awaiting us. After sampling the typical Hungarian food in the restaurants, we wanted to learn for ourselves, and... More

We did the cookery class with Andrew and cooked goulash soup, paprika chicken and apple cake. We had a brilliant time and learnt so much from Andrew, can't wait to try the recipes out

This was the highlight of my 5 day solo trip to Budapest. Andrew met me at the market, and the first thing he did was take me upstairs to sample the breakfast foods on offer. He then showed me some of the craft stalls on that floor. Next we went downstairs to buy the ingredients for the meal. It was... More

Andrew, amazing chef, warm, delightful, educational blew my wife Emily and I away, at the market & his kitchen. The InterContinental, a five star hotel recommended their class. We learned much about Hungarian cooking, how to purchase proper foods at the market and how to prepare our dishes. No doubt eating our meal with Andrew and Agnes (business partners) was... More

We had a visit to the market and a cooking class with Andrew. He guided us through the market, letting us taste various Hungarian snacks and dishes, did a quick tour of the souvenir stalls on the top floor and we bought the ingredients for the class at various different vendors. Andrew patiently explained what we were seeing, tasting and buying.... More

We had a great time doing the market tour and cooking class. Andrew was our guide, and he was fantastic. He made it feel like we were just hanging out with a friend cooking. He was very knowledgeable and was an excellent teacher as well. The market tour was a great addition, as it was fun to try some different... More
