We met the guide in the good halls and heard a great deal about the local food and drink. We tasted a variety if delicious Hungarian foods and got tips on what to buy. We then visited a restaurant, chocolate shop and coffee shop ( which was amazing!). Finally we had a relaxing walk through an interesting neighbourhood to the... More

My husband and I went back and forth on booking this tour, mainly based on the price. Food in Budapest is extraordinarily inexpensive compared to other European cities (we went to a Michelin starred restaurant and spent less than $150 for two including cocktails, a bottle of wine, and gratuity). However, at the end of the Culinary Walk tour, we... More

Such a good start to our stay in Budapest which set us up for the rest of our trip. This was a surprise I had booked for my cousin who is Vegan & who can sometimes struggle & feel that she has to compromise. We had the lovely Zsofia as our tour guide & really enjoyed her company, she was... More

The Budapest Culinary Walk should be on everyone's itinerary. Our friendly guide, Gabriella provided fascinating insight into the local food, culture and history of the Magyar people. Beginning in the Central Market and ending at the Tasting Table, we sampled a broad spectrum of delicious food and beverages enjoyed by the locals. This was an incredible experience. Don't miss it!

I went on the sweets and coffee walk with Zsófia and it was amazing. Not only are the sweets and coffee great, but Zsófia was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly and easy to get along with. She even helped me find fresh kürtoskalacs which I had been looking forward to for my whole trip (it was delicious). She was also... More

This was one of my favorite things in Europe. Start off in the food market and sample a few different cuisines including Hungarian liquor and deli meats. Continued on to a chocolate shop, coffee shop and a phenomenal lunch. Topped off with some wine tasting at the companies wine shop. Barbara our tour guide was awesome. Would definitely recommend.

We chose the Dinner Walk the night before New Years Eve and were luckily enough to be the only ones on the tour with our tour guide Frank. We started off at The Tasting Table where we met Frank and enjoyed a selection of Hungarian cold meats, cheeses, bread and oil. He explained what the company was about and what... More

Culinary walk with Szofia was absolutely fantastic, defintely a trip highlight and an amazing way to experience Budapest. Our guide was super interesting and personable. We tried pastries and sausages at a local market, visited a super hipster coffee shop (one of the most perfect cups of coffee I've ever had), traditional Hungarian eatery for lunch, old world coffeehouse, and... Definitely do this! We wanted to really dive in on our first full day in Budapest and experience Hungarian cuisine. We also wanted to get a feel for the layout of the city with a walking tour and maybe find some ideas for places to explore later. This was seriously one of the best things that we did! First, we...
