Interesting church in a quiet area

This is another lovingly restored baroque church, located some distance from the old town. The exterior is quite attractive with distinctive yellow paint. The interior fairly typical of other churches of this style.

one of the many Ljubljana's churches. It is nice, rich decorated but not outstanding. So not worth a special walk, but there this is also nice area of old town to explore...

It is situated in the old town, on the opposite side of pedestrian area from the Tripple bridge. It looks lovely inside too, although we could not enter it. The only way to see it was through the iron bars at the doors.

It took us 4 tries before we made it into this church. It does not seem to be left open like other catholic churches. This church is not as opulent as the Franciscan or St Nicholas churches. The ceiling not as high or the ceiling murals as large (pretty small actually). There are several nice side altars with plenty of... More

Our hotel/apartment waa just licated next to this church, so we visited this church directly after our arrival. The church is really beautiful with some impressive art. Really worth a visit.

A bit out of the old town but well worth a visit. The church is beautiful and around there are some nice sceneries.

St. James church is at the edge of the old town and, apparently, less frequented by tourists. Still it is worth to reach it, look around and also notice some interesting buildings in the area.

A very quiet and beautiful church worth a look in the door . The young guardian was doing his rounds and shared a bit of the history if the church with us . Its on the outskirts of the old part of town . If you pass by , take a look .
