We went to lipica from trieste. For 13€ a person, we expected a little bit more then some horses in 2 stables. Far too expensive. Even the wrap and pannini at 5,5€ were too expensive

We did not visit on one of the three days a week when you can see dressage displays, but nevertheless this was a very enjoyable visit to the famous Lippizaner stables. The landscaped park is most attractive, the stable complex is beautiful and the guide...More

We went here with the National Holidays Coach Holiday. The place itself is really lovely and the Horses gorgeous but I love anything to do with any animals, so I was in my element. The show they put on was brilliant, only complaint was the...More

I am no horse lover but my wife is. We made sure we went for a 3 p.m. Sunday show. The price is not small, but the surroundings very pleasant and we say the show (which she really thought spectacular and I thought was decent),...More

We have viewed Lipizzaner performances in Vienna and in the U.S. It was of high interest to us to tour the Lipica Stud Farm (Kobilarna Lipica.) We met "Jumbo," and several other Lipizzaners. We recommend.

The guided tour was a complete waste of time! Overpriced! We had to visit the training area ourselves. Tour guide couldn't answer our questions. Went to get an ice cream at the snack shop, and the freezer was empty. The museum was kid friendly. However,...More

Our day tour only included a quick stop at the Lipica farm. These horses were created from 4 different kinds of horses: Spanish, Arabian, Karst and Italian. We did not go on the paid tour. We watched about 50 mares grazing in a pasture and...More

Arrive early as there is a lot to do and they close at five. We did the English tour, And our guide was good. We attended a show after that. Having seen the horses in a "real" show, this seemed more like a training session...More

As you enter the Lipica estate you are instantly enchanted by the breathtaking landscape. The seemingly never-ending white fences and majestic trees make you feel like you stepped in another time. The Lipizzaner horses are peacefully roaming through the estate and you will surely be...More

We are visiting the Lipica Stud Farm the day after a tour ends. We have a driver picking us up at our Lake Bled hotel and we will spend the day going to the Lipica stud farm, then the Skocjan caves, then to Split where we will stay. Should we buy tickets for the Lipica stud farm before we go? Can we do that? We don't want to spend a long time in line! If we can buy tickets online, I couldn't find it on the website. Thank you! Our schedule- 07:45 AM: Departure from Bled 10:00 Lipica stud farm 11:45 - 12:00 Departure to Skocjan caves park 15:00 Departure from Skocjan Caves to Split

We arrive in the port of Koper on Friday Sept 16 at 0800. Would you please give us some ways (train, bus, rental car, tour) to get to Lipica to see a Presentation of the Horses at 1500. Thank you, Richard
