Accesable over a bridge from nearly the centre of the city. It offers green expierence and coolness on hot summer days.
There are great walks in the woods over the park. You can skate or play tennis almost through whole year.

A short distance from this small town, a really nice park. Lots of paths to stroll. Can also stroll along the river. Not even a 10 minute detour from the center of town. Lots of people enjoying the outdoors

the most beautiful part of the city Celje, but all of this spoil the dog's excrement. I know dogs are not guilty , but their owners .... IF you are walking with children, be careful where to walk, if you do not want to have strange odors at home.

The walk along river is enjoyable any time of year. The route is peaceful and shaded by stately trees. Many people usually walk their dogs or ride their bicycles along the way. There are several places to stop for food and drink all years round, and several more open on warmer days. You can cross the river on several bridges, the newest being at the library, to enjoy the opposite side of the river (actually the main part of the City Park) which has meandering walkways through mown grass and numerous shade trees. There is also a tennis center and a play area for small children. Views of the castle (Stari Grad) are inspiring. A hour or so leaves you relaxed and contented.

We visited the park last week and we had a really good time. First we saw children playing tennis and skating, then we had a nice relaxing drink in the bar. But the best thing was going to the little tree house which is a 20 minute walk form the park. There is also a playground for kids in the middle of the forest on the way to tree house. Perfect place to relax just 5 minutes form the city center...
