One of the best days of our trip. Rustic but always felt safe. We captured some amazing pictures. Wear good shoes as there is lots of walking.

You can get a decent view of it from the road, where it looks impressive. We started to follow the trail to get a closer look, but decided there were too many steps (plus it was about to rain).

It's not just a waterfall: It's a (karst) spring! This means that the water comes directly out of the rockface via a cave and than falls down more than 100 m.

This is spectacular, but the impression depends very much on the discharge, ranging between some tens of liters per second and more than 10 m³/s, which is extremely impressive. Ideally, visit this place during the snowmelt season or after heavy rainfall.

It's worth to climb higher than the official viewpoint. The view gets better and better. For a really unique experience, climb up on the other side, higher than the spring, and then climb down on a steep path directly to the spring orifice. It is possible (with good shoes and good hiking skills), and absolutely breathtaking.

The nature is unbelievable. 15 minutes to the first viewpoint. And very challenging 45 minutes to the second viewpoint near the waterfall. Must see. Recommended.

It takes 10 minute walk from Hotel BOKA to the view point, you can also climb in the waterfall in the riverbad, the view is amazing, with all water caming down, the highest waterfall in Slovenija, 144 metres. Absolutely amazing and recommended also for small children.

The hiking trail to the upper view point is not really shown in the woods. You can be lost to a steep hillside which is not fun to climb if you are not experienced.
