Vogel is one of the most beautiful and popular ski resorts in the winter, and the most popular high mountain centre in other seasons. Our slogan “Vogel. Like a Fairy Tale.” is the perfect description of our resort in every season of the year, and we plan to increase our profile with it and give our visitors this fairy-tale feeling. We are determined to seize the opportunities offered by our location in the heart of the Triglav National Park (TNP). Vogel cable car takes you to 1535 metres above sea level throughout the year (except during the maintenance periods). In this way viewpoints high in the mountains are easily accessible and also make an excellent starting point for hikers. You can choose from single or return cable car tickets. The cable car can transfer up to 950 people per hour. The Orlove glave quad chairlift also operates during the summer season (mid-June to end of September) and provides a single or a return ride in the pleasantly refreshing summer climate. It stops at the top of Orlove glave with a paragliding take-off point close by.

Unfortunately, we got a very bad week (first in February 2017) with horrible weather, although it was a lot of natural snow. But, due to the fact that there wasn't much skiers around, the management decided not to arrange and prepare all slopes so we...More

My wife and I took the cable car up in late September, planning to do a day's walking. It's great fun going in the cable car! We'd recommend taking the chair lift up higher and walking back, as we found it hard going uphill further...More

We took the gondola to take in the view in mid-September. The crowds were light and we were able to get on the gondola without waiting very long. Great views of the lake and mountains from the top.

When i first arrived there in early spring 2014, the whole place was abandonned and yet, it was the year when Slovenia had huge amount of snow, so mostof the lifts were still operating and there was still plenty of snow there! Because of spring,...More

We took the gondola up in September to get a panorama view of the area. It was a steep but quick mile ride up to the top. It was very rainy so we weren't able to explore much at the top. There was also a...More

Having looked at the map and seen what appeared to be nice walks when you get off the cable car at Vogel, it was really disappointing to see the desolate, quarry-like landscape. The only views were on the platform next to the cable car station....More

we visited early October and the weather was not great, so I can't rave about the views, but we hiked to mount Sija and back. There are only gravel roads to walk on, no hiking trails for the first half if you take route 1....More

Google would have brought up the accurate answer here: vogel.si/summer/ski-resort/ Indeed "snow tubing" is only part of the (free of charge) childrens park which, from my own memories, is not that huge. But then again... More

Well the information is mostly true. The walking distance from your Chalet to the cable car station is actually 1,5km, which is yet possible to walk (albeit you will walk it up / down a hill, so rather not in skiing... More
