It's very scenic area, especially the view from castle to church is astonishing. I was very impressed in spite of rain.

It's a great castle, from which you get a breathtaking view of the lake. Most famous place in Slovenia.

The castle itself is nothing more or less then it should be. The audioguide is well prepared, the exhibition is average. BUT the view from the castle towards Bled and the lake is one of the most beautiful scene I've seen in my life. Don't...More

This is both an historic and romantic place to visit. The museum is included in the entry price and well worth looking at. There is also a restaurant which, although expensive, is worth booking. Reservation is essential! The Castle is high on the rock overlooking...More

The castle has great views of the lake and the surrounding countryside. It has a bit of a steep climb to get to the entrance but the views are well worth it.

Nice view of the Lake from the castle but didn't think the castle itself was anything special. The museum was OK, printing press OK. Better castles at cheaper prices elsewhere.

You can book a table by telephoning the castle, where a member of staff will redirect you to the restaurant. The number can be found on the castle's website.

There is no free shuttle bus. If you have someone elderly I would recommend a taxi. They can be organised at the shop beside the tourist information in the main town. I did not know about the wine cellar. However, if you... More

There is a large area of the lake sectioned off for swimming in the summer. When outdoor swimming is not possible, we used Ziva wellness centre which charges around €10 for 3 hours use of the pool/outdoor heated pool, we... More
