We took a cruise with pletna to the island and the we all really enjoyed. It is highly recommended. A lot of people took a swim in the lake, but for us the water was too cold.

Spent two days at Lake Bled. Hiking, eating and swimming. Visited the castle and the church on the island. Had a truly wonderful time. The kids all had a blast and loved it too.

Such a beautiful lake. I find it ideal for families with children. It takes 6km to walk around it and it pleasant walk. Nice if you have bike, too.
