Terribly moving to be here, remembering the tens of thousands who passed through on their way to Treblinka and other camps. It’s by a busy road but inside the monument still feels rather desolate. If you’ve seen The Pianist you will remember the scene where...More

Still so hard to believe the evil that happens all those years ago. Saw the old border of the ghetto here too.

Coming to Warsaw, we wanted to come to this place, the place from where the train lefts to the concentration camps. On the 45th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising they made the memorial – which is resembling an open freight car From here the Jews...More

300,000 Jewish people were sent to death from here. Please notice the wagon design of this monument. Take a moment here, be silent and close your eyes for 2-3 min. That's all. You'll never forget this monument

This is truly a sad place that has rightfully been memorialized. Very small but it certainly moved us to know what went on here. Tragic.

Seemed fitting as this was the very sad last stop for more than 300,000 poor souls as they began their final journey. The railroad tracks are no longer there but the path to the tracks is symbolized by contrasting pavers. Also symbolized are the windows...More

Not many things remain from the time of the Warsaw ghetto and hardly anyone survived, so simply to mark this area as the place where people were rounded up and sent to their deaths is important. Not much if you are expecting something wow, similarly...More
