    How the rich people lived!
Good to tour this palace/museum with a guide to get the full impact. Interesting insights into the aristocrats’ way of life! The palace has had some 120 owners over the years, but is now a govt owned museum. Beautiful, attractive exterior; interior with some Baroque decor; lots of paintings. Surrounding gardens are probably fabulous in summer, but not much to see when we visited in October.

This beautiful place you must visit!
Just amazing, you must visit this palace and its garden, even when it is far away from the centre. It was favourite place of King Jan III. Sobieski. Tickets you can buy online or on the place. How to get there and detailed info you can read on my travel blog in Czech and English: hamiczech.tips For more travel inspiration follow me on Facebook or Insta: hamiczech

a must see on Warsaw's map
A beautiful palace with even more beautiful gardens. It's a pretty quiet place where you can rest and enjoy beautiful views. I highly recommend it because it is a lifetime experience, and what is also importants it is cheap to get there (at least for students).

    Not within Walking Distance
Buy tickets in advance. English audioguide was helpful. This palace is about ten km driving distance from central Warsaw, but no issues getting rideshare to-from (less than $20). There's a major bus stop a short walk away. The gardens are nice but see the palace inside. Gardens are more magnificent in Lazienki Park. Our advance tickets were for opening time, before the school groups arrived.

    Nice Palace and Grounds
This is a nice palace which is well worth making the trip out to from the city centre. We got there on the bus from the city centre which was easy and low cost. Make sure you also walk round the grounds.

A beautiful palace that is a feast for the eyes but there is little substance provided as a museum. We got the audio tour and walked the entire property. We left without a clue of when and why the palace was built, by whom, or how its residents lived. The display numbers of the audio tour and the flow of information were seemingly nonsensical. For example, it began on an upper floor with a tour through Asian-themed rooms and zero basic information about the palace. We then wandered through each display that had mind-numbing detail on some things while others simply describe what we’re seeing with our own eyes. No beginning, middle, end. No cohesive narrative. Impossible to retain this information. What a waste. Visit for the visuals but don’t bother trying to learn anything. The grounds and gardens are beautiful but are cheapened by tacky light-up decorations and giant artificial flowers. It takes away from the natural beauty.

The palace was worth seeing, and the gardens were even better, But it does not compare to Versailles, having seen that.

One of typical palaces turned into museum, with a huge well-kept garden partly English partly French style.
The Palace is very well equipped, not well described, so it is really recommended to buy a guided tour (as the guide is excellent) or an audioguide.

Having been fortunate enough to have visited a number of royal palaces and castles worldwide, we were not surprised that King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow was equally as impressive and opulent. The palace gardens were obviously not in bloom, but they were clearly maintained even in winter months and even had some lovely artificial "planted flowers" growing.

This is one of the must sees in Warszawa, if you have the time. There is an excellent palace and beautifully landscaped gardens and park. Great for a walk or romantic stroll. The palace has many rooms with exquisite wooden floors and ceilings. Do go upstairs to the art area at the top, which is a bit quieter, beautiful rooms in their own right, and a great view of the gardens.

It is a busy place and so get there early (10 am opening) and best before then. The car parking though is awful. We had to park on some narrow local roads as the car parks were full before 10am.

It is free on a Thursday, if you get there early.

Amazing palace with garden. Perfect for weekend stroll. Unfortunetly, part of the gardens were under constructions.
