You only need to make this part of a bigger day. 5 mins to view then go along the back through the botanic gardens.

This is an interesting insight to polish history and a must when you visit warsaw. Very solemn and a reminder of the suffering the polish people have suffered over the years

This was just opposite our hotel so we passed by a lot. Some mornings we saw an army drill going on. I feel a bit bad for the guys at night when its -3 outside.

I did a bicycle tour of Warsaw and this was one the best spots. The very serious but oh so young soldiers were a highlight.

A simple but interesting monument - The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is good place to be especially when there is a change of the guards.

The soldiers on guard perform a ceremony which is worth seeing. The area is on a large square and at the back there is a park area. So it is worth a stroll around both. There is something peaceful and respectful about the place and...More

I thought I knew all the battles and wars fought by the Poles since the partitions - my visit here proved me wrong. It is an interesting monument, and worth a quick visit.
