A beautiful castle built by the Polish people during the 1970's. Try to watch the movie located close to the wardrobe before looking around the castle since it will make a lot of sense with why the castle looks how it looks. They did an excellent job with replicating things. Some of the paintings are real and have been returned... More

Use this opportunity in down town. As you could know tere is not many historical buildings in the centre due to 2nd war demages. This castle is double unical for that reason.

When seeing pictures how it was destroyed in WW II, and how it is looking now, renovated with a lot of love for details... incredible. Big respects what has been achieved. Take your time and visit it!!

I went to visit at the tickets in November were free. I had heard about the Royal Castle being rebuilt after the Germans blew it up and demolished it in 1944 so really wanted to see it. The way it has been so accurately restored is marvellous every detail every ceiling painting reinstated. Thanks to the people of Poland. Not... More

We only visited the surrounds as we had ran out of time and place was closing due to it not being high season. Outstanding buildings though! So can only really comment on that

The castle is closed on the Monday so we went in on Tuesday and found November entry is FREE. After getting our tickets we went across the courtyard to enter the castle. Inside we saw photos of the devastation caused by Nazi bombs, the castle was levelled to the ground. On our Free Walking tour our guide, told us that... More

Hard to believe the castle was destroyed in 1939 during WWII. Fantastic rebuild filled with so many historical artwork and features. So glad they rebuilt the castle. Be sure to check out the free times (most Sundays) for entry. A must see when in Warsaw!

We went in Nov so it was free- tried to get tickets one day but they had all gone so get there early! As with Warsaw everything has been rebuilt and they have done an excellent job in replicating the original.

The museum is a huge place, so you'll need at least 3 hours if you wanna see everything. One cool detail: it's free on Tuesdays ;) I went with a Polish guy who told me things about it, and it was really cool. I don't know if they offer some guided tours (they probably do), and if they do, it's... More
