This is a wonderful and very long 'high' street that empties out into a large square in the Old Town part of the city. This street has many restaurants and shops and government buildings as well as luxury and old-style hotels.

I love this street along with Nowy Świat. Full of well maintained historical buildings, cafes, restaurants. Great to take a walk and look around at statues, University of Warsaw, churches and President's Palace. Very small traffic, so it's quiet and nice.

How safe is it to walk around Warsaw alone, especially at night. As I've read on here it is not safe to go out alone after dark?
