Less than 5 minutes walk from the metro station this is another must visit museum for not just the history it is telling but the way in which it has been done. There is so much information here it's hard to read it all and...More

Our first attempt to visit was aborted. Multiple coaches on both sides of the road leaving a narrow central lane for busy two way traffic. Children everywhere and a very long wait to enter, clearly school part season! Their Internet site has a rolling report...More

The history of the uprising from the people who DID IT rather than those who watched while it was happening.

We entered for free having visited on a Sunday, but even at regular admission price there was a lot to see and do in the museum. Plenty of information to read and some interesting items to see, with the before and after photos of Warsaw...More

The bunker, the sewers, the guns, the grenades, the airplane, the watchtower, everything here is fascinating and well worth a visit.

This is a very interesting museum that limits its focus to the Warsaw Uprising in Aug-Sept 1944. There is a lot of information presented. I agree with some people who think it is a bit disjointed. Still, the museum is worthwhile. There are several video...More

Its all here, thoroughly documenting the Warsaw uprising. Each individual exhibit was excellently presented but we found the overall museum flow somewhat confusing. A large crowd, mostly touring students made it difficult to approach some exhibits. I could have used more benches and rest spots....More

Visited here on a Thursday morning, it wasn’t too busy. Definitely needed the audio tour which we went back to get. Learnt a lot about the Warsaw Uprising and WW2, a very worthwhile experience.

We saved this museum for our last day. We decided to walk as the weather was hot. It took is 50 mins to get there from the old town. We were extremely disappointed. The museum doesn’t seem to have a flow. There were about four...More

I can't remember, but it seems that other people do. No matter how much it costs (it it were a lot, I would remember....heh), it's completely worth the money.
