a big cavern of a museum - dark and atmospheric with so much information on a subject I was familiar with but not knowledgable. English translations everywhere and some fantastic archive films that I had not seen before. Brilliantly done.

Overall the museum was very informative, with a lot of information about the uprising. Maybe we missed it, but we never received a map or any guide as to how to go through the museum. There are 4 levels and we didn't notice any order...More

I really didn't enjoy the museum itself; I am really not into the way in which the Polish lay things out (I found the same arcade type feel at Schindler's museum in Krakow too). Too many people trying to access to many little peep holes...More

This is an extremely well done museum, but also overwhelming. If you have been to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, you know what I mean. So much information, so many graphics, so much multimedia, that if can start to obscure the message. There is...More

We went to the museum twice. The first day (it was Sunday) the entrance was free of charge and the place was jam-packed. They weren't limiting the number of visitors and you couldn't really see anything so we just left. The second day was a...More

I think you can just get headsets when you are there. I didn't buy online, I just walked in but it was January - best to buy online and avoid the risk of a queue. The signing inside can be confusing but they give you a map... More
