An in-depth history of the events of The Warsaw Uprising. A staggering amount of information and detail, maybe too much for some. Easy to find because of the distinctive observation tower and an energetic walk from the central railway station. I was lucky as I visited on a Sunday, free entry, but it was not too busy. Lots of other visitors but... More

This is not the place to go to feel happy. It's history and important to know and the displays do a great job of teaching. I believe you should allot at least 3 hours, maybe more. We got the English audio guide for ~$10 and it was worth it. Kids will be bored here, but adults should go to know... More

The museum´s interior in an old power station, sets the atmosphere. Little crowded on a wet Saturday.

We went on a rainy day to the museum. It has a lot of polish history to offer. It is super interesting, but when it's a bit crowded it can get annoying that the people push you aside while you try to read some of the well researched information. You can spend hours going through a lot of the Warsaw... More

The museum itself is good enough but we went on a Sunday when it was free and it was so busy. I know that is to be expected if it is for free but it almost felt unsafe because it was so crowded. As a result me and my friends felt quite claustrophobic and had to push through quite a... More

Any time you visit Warsaw, your knowledge of the city is incomplete unless you visit the Uprising Museum and learn the story of the brave men and women who defied the Germans (without Russian help) even as the enemy burned most of the city to the ground. Hint: there is much to read and to see. I allowed two hours... More

Very modern museum but I'm afraid, lacking in substance. Consisting mainly of photographs, there are very few artifacts to show the situation then. Mostly a memorial to the heroes involved, very interesting I am sure, to Polish people, but less so to other nationalities. I guess the Germans and then Russians obliterated most momentoes to continue the supression of Polish resistance.... More

We went to this museum not knowing what to expect, but we were AMAZED! The museum is completely immersive and you can take your time and and read all the descriptions or you can wander through and still understand the contributions of the uprising.

It is a must see spot in Warsaw. It teaches history in interesting, non conventional way. I highly recommend it.

We visited the museum unsure of what we would see. It describes in great detail the events of the Warsaw uprising in 1944 and the sacrifices the people made to try and save the city. All I would say is that you must go and visit. It is well researched and has much to see, although a lot of the... More
