Even if you know something about Warsaw's history, which was my case, you get completely lost with too much information, diagrams, sounds... If you know nothing, I have the impression that you would go through it like one goes through an amusement park: plenty of input but zero reflection. The curators should have thought about it, give less information and... More

This museum is so extensive you could easily spend a whole day here, however I definitely recommend at least an afternoon. To visit this museum is crucial to understanding the events of WW2, and the Warsaw of today. The history totally blew me away. I was amazed by the heroic stories of the people of Warsaw and the resistance, and... More

This museum was definitely worth a visit. On entering, you hear what sounds like a massive heartbeat and certainly lent to the atmosphere of the place. Very reflective experience and gives a great understanding of how Warsaw was rebuilt after so much devastation in the wake of the uprising. I would recommend this museum to anyone who has an historical... More

Done properly to take account of interactive media this can take 3-4 hours. An excellent but at times disturbing history of the Uprising.

This ought to be a world class museum. It gets close. Very impressive displays and interaction, but confusing layout where the designer's eye for a wow factor overtook managing an interesting and impressive story. The observation tower was closed on my visit with no explanation. Cafe tucked away a little on an upper floor but with a good theme linked... More

It's really great and outsanding museum that gives you a look into the rising of Polish people from the start of WW II. Heartbeat is great allegory.

full of children. i am glad they see the events, however the brutality and the german dirliwinger rona and kaminski brigades are passed over. i peronally am very happy the polish children see this but it is a crime that is hard to see from this museum

Having been to the brilliant POLIN the previous day, this museum was a bit of a let-down. I personally found the exhibition gimmicky and difficult to follow.
