This is a fairly new museum, finished in '06, and very popular. I went on a Monday afternoon, arriving just under 2 hours before closing, and was advised by the staff at the entrance that I was too late and it would not be worth...More

I visited this museum with my girlfriend on a Saturday morning. The place was packed, loads of visitors. It was also jammed just after passing the entrance as there are pictures to be seen through spectacles and the texts related are placed just under. So...More

An informative museum about the rise of the poles against the nazis. Lots of things to read. Spent about 2hrs here. On the outside of the museum there is a wall with names of those who perished while fighting the war.

I was in hurry so I didn't saw the whole museum but even it was very interesting. I was surprised by the fact that they had an audio guide in my language. You should reserve at least 2 hours to see everything in this musem.

The Warsaw uprising captures the spirit of those persecuted in war and whose fighting spirit maintained dignity amongst huge loss. Exhibits, film and atmosphere helps take you back and appreciate those that suffered, fought and died in WW2 during the Warsaw uprising especially.

We'd done a walking tour of the old town and decided we needed to learn more about the 1944 uprising that lead to the total destruction of much of Warsaw. This museum was atmospheric and full of personal stories and detail. It did the job...More
