This is Poland's flagship for how to construct a modern high-tech museum. WW II Museum in Gdansk, Emmigration Museum in Gdynia, and Warsaw's Polin (Jewish) museum follow in its footsteps. Although the focus is on events from the largest urban uprising against Nazi authority during...More

We learnt so much during our visit. It is a must-see museum for newcomers in Warsaw. Enormous amount of interactive learning and all well presented. Strongly recommend taking an audio guide. Don’t skip the cafe conveniently situated right in the middle of the visiting path....More

Get an audio and follow it round. It will tell you the story and the hardships the Poles had during the uprising in WWII. Its a very sobering story and you will respect the peole of Warsaw more because of it.

This museum is reason enough on its own to visit Warsaw. It is honorably presented in a logical format with mostly English as well as Polish language.

The displays are not well-thought out and predominantly directed at a local audience. Worse still, the place feels like a fire hazard. The route to the exit is hard to locate; the interior is deliberately dark and I dread to think what would happen in...More

One of the best exhibitions around the globe. Must visit and you won’t regret it. Fantastic journey to the sad and heroic past. Respect to the heros of 1944.

There was never a lot of history taught about this Uprising, but the Museum covers all aspects of the fate of those involved. The city of Warsaw and it's people can now tell the world.
