A good location to have the statue - right outside the town hall in the Torun Main square. Torun is proud of the man that "stopped the sun".

This was a super experience, one we will never forget. The exhibits are awe-inspiring especially when you consider their age and how accurately they were produced.

Heliocentricity indeed . Nice spot for a photo op at the old town square in Torun. Torun is unique as it is authentic in it's architecture having been not destroyed in WWII.

During a week I saw three different statues of Copernicus: in Torun, Warsaw and Olsztyn and I liked this one in Torun the most. This monument is a real centre of the town.
