I never knew such a place existed in Poznan. Very modern but situated in a lush green area by the river. Really picturesque on one hand but kind of disturbing on the other, a sheer concrete structure when you least expect it.

Highly recommended museum that takes you through the history of the island on which Poznan cathedral is situated as well as the history of Poznan more broadly. Using multi language audio guides that sense where you are in the building and surrounding area it keeps...More

They have really tried hard to make this history centre as engaging as possible. It has lots of screens to touch and icons to point your audio device at. It covers the growth of the cathedral island and Christianity in Poland. Worth a visit.

It's a must for everybody visiting Poznań. Be better than most of the citizens ;-) who haven't been there. So typical for every city - the tourists know and see more than the locals. Probably the matter of distance - the closer the more difficult...More

It was the best museum I visited in Poznan. It takes you an interctive journey in the history that begins with the "start of Poland" and ends in today. You are given tapes and headphones which they will guide you through the expedition. The museum...More
