Huge park with something for everyone! We were very lucky with the weather and it was a beautiful very warm September day. There is the military museum with tanks and aircraft outside. Lovely areas of beautiful flowers and various monuments scattered around the park. An...More

The city was not crowded, and it was not tired to walk around visiting the different monuments... but, the park provides peace and nature. It was a really nice place for walk and be seated for a while enjoying the nice weather we had.

Spent the morning here on my first day in Poznan. A huge tranquil park, where I only saw about a dozen other people. In summary, there's a great military museum, fort remnants, an amphitheatre, WWII cemeteries and amazing sculptures. Worth taking time out for!

I plan on going back when this is open, but it looks really awesome from what you could see through the fence. There are 4 tanks outside that can be viewed even with the site it closed.

Sight of fort winary , which was largely destroyed in the battle of Poznan in 1945, between the retreating Germans and the Red Army . Wonderful museum of tanks and other artillery, from the last 75 years. You can go and have a look at...More
