Just a 15 minute walk from the old town square. The cathedral is large and has access into the vaults here you can pay 5ZL to go into.Impressive architecture and worth a wander around whilst in Poznan.

Walked here from town, as was astounded by seeing these towers in the distance every day. The area is beautiful, the grounds of the church especially so. The interior of the building is not what I expected but it was very enjoyable to walk round

It would be best to read about some of the history of this beautiful church before entering, so the important features would be better understood. I didn't take sufficient pictures and would love to go back and really study it. For instance, we missed the...More

Cathedral is an essential visit and only a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the square. There is plenty to see in the area and there are wonderful paintings and carvings in the Cathedral.

This Cathedral; has been reviewed many times so I won't take too much space other than to say it is beautiful. The architecture is astonishing and the esthetics are outstanding. It is a little bit of a walk but I highly recommend.

One cannot miss this cathedral when visiting Poznan and its Ostrow Tumski in particular. It is one of the oldest if not the oldest such cathedral in Poland. History buffs will surely find some interesting little eye openers.

A bit of a trek to get here, but worth the effort. Twin cathedral towers can be seen from quite a distance around. Quite a peaceful location on an island in the river.

This old cathedral lies between the Warta and Cybina rivers. It is a gothic cathedral built between the 14th and 15th centuries. It has been restored following the Second World War. The vaults were also restored. Very historic cathedral worth visiting.

This is a baroque cathedral, the largest in Poland. Parts of the building go back to 968. While most of the churches in Poland will not let you walk around the whole church, this one does.

This is one of the most understated church's in Poland yet it is one of the most important. This is the place where Christianity started in Poland. I was lucky enough to be one of only 2 people visiting on the day I arrived, This...More
