The museum is located on the outskirts of the city and the old, war weapon factory. It was made with the visitor in mind, you can travel whole route without a guide and special assistance. The price is very low for what the museum offers....More

Being a student of history, science, WWII, I found this place interesting. Most of the information is only in Polish, and our friend got tired of translating for us. That being said, you still get a good sense of history.

It is amazing to realize how such a large and important complex is hidden in the forest. Check a map and you'll see it is still very hard to find the buildings. The tour is self-guided which allows you to take the time and really...More

Considering 30% of all ammunition used in the Russian Front was produced here, it is worth a visit. Start with the Nitro production area, up the mound to the left hand side of the museum. It was purposely built to deflect explosions. Labour used was...More

Extremely well done rehabilitation of the ruins left after the Second World War. The display are well lit and very interesting. Be prepared to walk as the displays are connected by underground tunnels that were used during the war.

I pre-booked and asked for an English speaking guide for a party of nine of us. He was waiting for us and did not rush a group of geeks.

The museum is located in the woods, in the ruins of German ammunition factory. The ruins itself are an attraction, with their spacious buildings and long tunnels, hidden well from the eyes of enemy during the war. At the beginning of the visit you find...More
