Strolling around the old town is nice, most of the good restaurants are around the main square. Small shops and restaurants in the streets around.

For me it was one of the most beautiful old cities that I have ever visited in my life! The river, the restaurant the red bricked buildings, statues, everything was a real pleasure to visit!

When in Bydgoszcz do start your trip at the Market Square and stroll down to the river Brda via Mill Island. See the opera house, and go down along the river. Along the route you will find many nice places to eat.

Not the largest or most dramatic square in Europe but also very cosy. Always lots of people milling about and lots of places to eat close to here. Has a nice vibe with a dramatically ugly old school central european sculpture.
