Great spot for a walk from city center. Religious architecture with astonish views. Nearby there is a possibility to take a boat trip.

Crossing the bridge onto the island was like walking into another time. Peaceful, quiet, and away from the bustle of the city, the cathedrals and park and monuments (not to mention dwarf statues) were charming.

Most of the buildings on the Cathedral Island were totally destroyed during the final days of WWII, but have been lovingly restored and the Cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop.

A journey through history. I highly recommend you to spend some time on this island which is like a fortified small town.

One of the most beautiful parts of the city. Considering it's so important I doubt anyone would miss it. Really enjoyed our walks there.
