A once grey and forgotten place has transformed into a thrilling heart of the Wroclaw cultural underground.
Anyone wanting to chill out, take-in some amazing graffiti and soak up the artistic ambience, will find this a backyard reminiscent of establishments found in Berlin's cultural precincts.

Come as you, with friends, or with a great book and enjoy your self in the marvelous art gallery “Studio BWA".
Alternatively, enjoy some time in the always entertaining "Niskie Laki” pub. Niskie Laki combines with a creative community engaged in organized Sunday markets. The markets are a brilliant place to buy or exchange cool stuff - giving old objects a new life and a new history within a culture that believes in reinvention not dereliction. Of course, your stomach will not let you go past the delicious Vegetarian food - you can even combine that with checking out one of the late night movie shows (like PLANET+ DOC Film). And don’t miss PINK PIKNIK! Music and Fun, fun, fun!

One not-to-be-missed event will happen this Spring, when a group of young designers will create an extraordinarily unusual arrangement of self-made furniture. Keeping with the philosophy that transformation, reinvention and alternative usage is not only better for our planet but is also an enjoyable adventure into our collective imaginations and a challenge to the status quo of an existence bloated by waste. You are guaranteed to walk away with fresh ideas - and of course... a lingering smile on your face.

Easy to find, just through an alley off the street. The area seems given over to art and the neon and grafitti suit the area.

Small bar down a little side street surrounded by old neon light signs from the communist era. The bar had lots of deckchairs outside which was perfect on a warm summer evening. Wroclaw is such a beautiful little city, full of atmospheric bars like this. If you’re thinking of going to Krakow - visit Wroclaw instead. It’s fantastic.

Presently dug up to replace underground pipework, unfortunately, smells like drainage. Murals still present but that's it at the moment.

We went there in December, during the day, Friday, I suppose. The place seemed to be dirty, abandoned. To be honest I was quite scared walking down that street so we left quite fast.

Check the coming events at their website before you decide to add this attraction to your tour.

Beautiful hidden and fast-changing place where you'll discover great mural paintings and street art plus clubs and bars when the night comes. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in graphic arts.

By night a neon sign lit bar filled area, not really catering for old ‘uns like us (Mrs H didn’t feel comfortable at all), by day slightly scruffy, but home to artists studios and galleries, where you can buy ceramics and glass jewellery etc.

I love street art and murals so this is a place for me. Old neons look amazing. Hidden gem. I also recommend to go to see the backyard in Roosevelt's Street.

I like wandering off the beaten path and I have discovered several interesting murals and bars meant for a beer stop.
