The place was half empty. The bats and theatre are beautiful with old chandeliers and decor. Well worth a visit. The production was... More

The Opera House is a delightful building in the Viennese opera style. If you get a chance, try and get to a performance and experience the building at its most vibrant. Productions are consistently good and the stagecraft, given the complex stage machinery available, often excellent. Program notes are sometimes available in English. Best look on line for a synopsis... More

Highly recommended to those looking for spiritual entertainment in Wroclaw. The building itself is a masterpiece and after renovation is even more grand. The performance was aesthetically superb-attention to details and libretto of Nutcracker in December 2016. The bar in the foyer with great service and splendid red wine from Georgia. Overall if we could give them more than 5... More

We decided last minute to go to opera when we saw people coming in. It was possible, and it was a great addition to our Wroclaw trip!

What a wonderful building. I attended the Ballet Anna Karenina, a beautiful performance, and I enjoyed the music, the scene, the interior, the chandeliers... - all of it. Going back in June for Puccinis Tosca! September: I forgot to finish my review :) Went back in July and got to see/listen to the wonderful Opera Tosca.

Exactly a year ago, I reviewed this spot. Now, after yet another 2 recent visits, I may only re-confirm what I had stated previous year: this is by far the best opera house in Poland and arguably one of the best in Europe! The number of titles played during each month is just amazing (where else can you see some... More

What a gorgeous building! We just attended an opera the other day and I was impressed with the cleanliness and quick services provided by the theater.

We had the pleasure to walk past this wonderful looking building everyday on our recent holiday to Wrocław. The Opera building has been completely renovated and look's amazing and is right in the heart of the city. Although I am not really into opera in really love the buildings that opera is performed in and the opera building in Wrocław... More

This building is beautiful but choose your seats wisely for a show as some especially in the higher sections have poor views if you are sitting back in your seats

Having experienced the difficulty of getting a ticket in Royal Opera House in London, watching an opera has become part of my holiday whenever I could possible fit it into the itinerary. I watched Verdi's Nabucco, the singing was great, production was compatible to big opera house I.e. ROH and Grand Palais. It's hard to find the ticket office or... More
