Cathedral of St Vincent and St James, the cathedral of the Greek Catholic community. Though mostly Gothic and unadorned, it holds a beautiful Baroque chapel on its southern side.

Cathedral Of St Vincent And St James is one of the oldest churches in Wrocław.
Founded by Henry II The Pious in 1240 possibly earlier, built for the Franciscans in the Romanesque and Gothic style of architecture so popular back in the day.
Enlarged and beautifully decorated in the 14th & 15th century and between 1662 and 1674 the church interior was exquisitely redecorated to make it one of the most beautiful churches in Breslau.
During the siege of Breslau during WW2 the church was severely damaged, the tower collapsed as did some of the walls were the treasures within were either destroyed or looted, during Easter Sunday 1945 the famous Hochberg Chapel was also nearly burned to the ground but starting from 1999 till about 2012,2013 the church and chapel were reconstructed and restored to its former glory .
We were heading to Targowa, Craft Beer & Food and this beautiful church was across the road and made for some great photographic opportunities and is most definitely well worth seeking out.
The Church is found on Plac Nankiera,it's only a short walk from here to Cathedral Island.

The picture with those people comming out of the sidewalk is located nearby the Railway station. Not around this Cathedral. Cathedral itself is amazing.

The Cathedral of St. Vincent and St. James[1] also Church of St. Vincent, (Polish: Kościół św. Wincentego, German: St. Vincenzkirche), is the seat of the Greek Catholic cathedral of Wrocław in Poland. This church has a really beautiful chapel, where a polish prince was supposed to be buried. But when they opened the sarcophagus, it was empty and no one knows where he is now.
