Probably the oldest wooden church in Poland. Made in Norway without a single nail. Inside is over 10 minutes audio presentation in a few languages depends of group (but not in english).

If you want to feel young again, thats the place to go hundreds of young student about having a giggle and talkfest. There is an entrance fee to get inside but the visitors guide outside was good enough for me.

Didn't expect to see a wooden-framed 'Viking' church! Great views of the surrounding mountains and fresh air!

This place is not wheelchair accessible, as short, but steep steps lead to the entrance. There’s a small garden in front and cemetery in the back. This is accessible. Steep hill leads to the church.

Who would have though of finding a 1000 year old Norwegian church in Poland! Strenuous climb up to get there, but worth it. Interesting statues and an old German cemetery on the grounds. Wonderful mountain views and beautiful forests.

From what I had experienced, there are Buses running as I had noticed while 'fast tracking' down the winding and medium sized bitumen road leading to Karpacz from Wang with my mountain bike. What fun and exhilaration... More
