Not so much to do or see around. It looks much nicer from outside than inside. Nice to walk around in the forest but not to sit in the church :)

It's one of the 'must see' when you visit this region. Approach is easy and accessible, there is nice view on surrounding peaks but unfortunately there is a fee for everything - access to square=fee; enter inside=fee; photos inside=fee. It's cheap and completely affordable but...More

This is such a novelty the church is after a Viking design transported from Norway. Absolutely worth every step to get there.

We came here to spent some time during our holiday. The church is really nice as well as the town. We were unlucky to see the view on the mountains due to fog. I highly recommend to visit the church inside. It is a very...More

After you have found a parking spot (several paid spots available, but several hundred meters remain, on an ascent. This is clearly a tourist hotspot, with souvenir stands and ice cream sold on the street. Church visits are strictly limited, the door opens, out comes...More

It is still a long way to climb up, even after parking the car, but worth it. Wonderful craftsmanship in the stave church (no nails). I'd just been in Norway, so I would have liked to know more about the church and its history, but...More

The church is very nice. Loved it especially from the outside. Inside was nice but not in English. Just a paper to read.

Lovely small church made of wood in Norway - sold to prussian king - brought to Berlin, than to Karpacz. 2€ entrance fee. Nice place to spend 1 to 1,5 hours.

A Norwegian wooden church, the only one in this part of Europe. Worth seeing from the outside and inside, bypassing the narrow cloisters and contemplating the Viking decorations. I recommend listening to an audio guide that tells the story of the church. Next to the...More
