Recently went to Lost Souls Alley with my wife on our honeymoon. I’m not big on scares but she likes that kind of thing so we gave it a go. Worth me pointing out that we went for the green option, which supposedly meant the actors could interact with you and touch you but that they wouldn’t cause any harm to you - just a fright! Had a real scare and ended up coming out early as it was a little too much for us. Must say the quality of the props, rooms and actors was top notch and the fear factor was real throughout. The games and riddles weren’t too difficult and but made the experience better! If any criticism at all it was maybe just a little bit too hands on and grabby for what was one of the lightest options. Would recommend to anyone who is into a good scare and does not mind grabbing or pulling around.

Me and 3 friends did green level and it was the first time for everyone. I usually don't like horror and scary stuff but genuinely had an amazing time and I was as scared as much as I was having fun, so it was perfectly balanced. The location is really good, the actors are very realistic and never break the character, absolutely terrifying. Two of them grabbed me from behind but didn't hurt me at all and easily let me go, which was perfect for green. Also got a crush on the dude with a straitjacket and face mask who tried to kidnap me so greetings to him. Definitely recommending the green version.

I found Lost Souls Alley on trip advisor whilst planning my solo trip to Krakow and really wanted to visit. However, whilst reading the “rules” on their website I wasn’t sure whether to try it with being a woman on my own and I definitely didn’t want to go in alone! I called in at Lost Souls Alley (which is in the very centre of the old town) to see what was what. Despite putting the address in Google maps it’s hard to find. It’s not very well signposted and you have to go down an alleyway and up a flight of stairs to find the reception. The guy was very helpful and explained that 6 people are allowed per booking, so if I looked online for a time slot that had less than 6 spaces it would mean that someone else had already booked that slot. The booking system is my only complaint regarding LSA. I wanted to book the green version but it turns out you can only book pink/green and on arrival the whole group must decide which version they want to do. So if you turn up on the day and the other people outnumber you, you either have to cancel or do a version that you don’t want to! I booked a particular time slot for the following day but later received a phone call from LSA. They had noted that I was British but I’d booked on a time slot with Polish people. They offered me another time slot with English speaking people. I really appreciated the call and accepted the change of time slot but it makes me wonder why they don’t offer Polish/English/other language options on their booking system? The experience itself was amazing and very scary. Don’t expect too much in terms of “escape room” experiences. It’s very basic in so much as you’re usually looking for a key or way to escape the room. It’s more about the fear than challenging puzzles 🫣 It’s very dark and if you’re doing the green (hands on) experience the actors will touch you and try to separate you from the group but they won’t hurt you! I don’t want to give too much away, but the first room is probably the scariest because it’s pitch black and you don’t know what to expect. After that it becomes more scarily fun! The website warns that you might get injured. I scraped my arm and hand whilst running away from actors, but that was my own doing. I found it funny that the guy at reception had an antiseptic spray to hand so minor injuries are obviously common. You can pay a small amount to get photos of your experience shared on Flickr. You get a password and after 4 days you can access CCTV stills from your experience. It’s clear that no thought has gone into choosing these stills as they’re not the best images, but as you get over 100 images it’s reasonable value for money. The experience itself is 5 stars and I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The booking system could do with some improvements and I don’t know why they don’t signpost themselves better from the street as they’d probably get more ad hoc bookings.

Wow what a laugh! We chose the second level (green) so the staff can interact with you but you don’t get hurt. Combined my two favourite things... scare mazes AND an escape room. Chose the picture package and can’t wait to see the outcome of those. I swore A LOT. Mam showed her how effect parenting skills by pushing me into oncoming scaries. Came out sweaty, frazzled and laughing. 10/10 would recommend.

We saw this before we travelled to Kraków and we wanted to do it, but didn't think our plans would give us time. Thankfully we had enough time! This made my trip to Poland! I've not laughed so much as I did here in my life. There was a mixture of fun, fear and some pain. We did the green option, I wanted to do red but everyone else was too scared. The actors are amazing and even though you know it's not real.... the fear is there, because you can't see! If you do this, embrace the experience and scream, scream, scream. My advice is you must get the photo's, we have laughed so much at our expressions and faces. Also don't wear your best clothes, my white tshirt was stained, but it was worth it. If you go to Kraków you MUST do Lost Souls Alley!

Truly an exhilarating experience like no other. We were still thinking about it for days afterwards.

For those who previously compared it to the London Dungeon - no, no, no, no, no..... this is far more intense and far more 'personal' in nature.

Everything is so superbly done from the room designs, to the special effects, and especially the actors. Not for the faint hearted but otherwise I totally recommend it!

the whole experience is 25-30min long if you take green. The staff is very friendly so don't believe bad comments. It was great, if you can tolerate panic well, take yellow option :) it includes some tight spaces, just as a warning :) I definitely recommend you go here when in Krakow :)

Recommend doing this if you like horror films/scary experiences and escape rooms. Would not recommend if you’re claustrophobic and get easily scared. Great experience, better than we expected and the attention to detail is impressive. Escape room elements are fairly simple but made difficult as you’re in the dark majority of time and have the characters messing around and scaring you the whole time. In the green version the actors get in your face and grab/touch you which adds to the experience. We did it in a group of 4 and loved it. Depending on how long you take to complete the tasks and move to the next room; dictates how long the experience lasts. We were out in just over half an hour.

This experience was one that made me nervous because I’m bad with anything horror. The guy on the entrance was lovely and spoke to us about what it would consist of and the levels of horror. We did the weakest one, which to be fair was scary enough. The worker himself doesn’t recommend the worst one as they are allowed to touch you, ruin your clothes and use electricity etc on you which put us off. It was very scary but I’m happy I did it and I would 100% recommend.

Absolutely brilliant experience. I was dragged here semi unwillingly by my boyfriend. I agreed to do the “easiest” option and so glad I did. It’s designed for age 14+ but if there was an easier one I would have taken that!

Not sure I could have tolerated the green level so happy with the pink. I have no idea how people have done anything above the green level. Apparently there are 10 rooms but it seemed like one big nightmare. The actors are brilliant, I genuinely felt like I was living out every horror film I’d ever seen. From the torch failing (on purpose) to getting chased with tasers and so much more. I screamed the entire way round. There was only two of us, and we got separated at one point accidentally (my fault of course) and I have never known fear like it!

The guy on reception was great, he was very informative and explained the safety measures in detail. Well worth the money and a must see while in Krakow. 10/10.
