Wow just wow. It was beautiful inside and so much gold everywhere.
Well worth a visit if you are in the Jewish quarter.
Or even just in Krakow.

In the Jewish Quarter of Krakow ( Kazimierz ) there are some amazing looking synagogue's as you would expect and some great looking churches, without a shadow of a doubt one of the most beautiful is Corpus Christi Church.
Corpus Christi Church ( Kosciol Bozego Ciala ) was constructed between 1340-1403 on the orders of King Casimir III, this church is amazing view,a mix of several architectural styles including Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque, its one of the most unique churches in Krakow and one of the biggest, my twin brother and I were exploring around the wonderful Jewish Quarter and passed the church, we've seen it many times over the years and it still impresses, if you're in the Jewish Quarter it's a church to most definitely check out, its easy to locate along Bozego Ciala.

A breathtaking church, there are many churches in Krakow and we visited a few but this one was probably my favourite. Absolutely stunning.

The Corpus Christi church in the Kazimierz district is originally a Gothic church dating back from the 14th century. It was part of a monastery, and there is a nice garden around it, and it is walled off from the street.

The interior has had a massive makeover in the 18th century giving it a heavy Baroque appearance with lots of heavy dark furnishing and gold galore. The choir stalls are however very impressive although they make the place seem quite dark.

The organs are newer and the biggest of the city; and there are some very well preserved and beautiful stained glass windows as well.

The exterior surroundings allow for a nice little green break in the city.

Easter Saturday, a beautiful choir echoing in the street brought us to watch the procession enter a wonderfully lit church. The gold shone out and the incense made it more mesmerising. A big church with an amazing interior that would require sometime to stand and observe and absorb it all. Superb architecture.

This is a magnificent and huge church, located at the outskirts of the Jewish quarter of Krakow.
There was a ceremony going on during our visit, so we were limited to several spaces in the church, but it was enough to see just how wonderful and ornate it is.

Absolutely stunning! The most beautiful church we have ever been in! We didn't actually go inside the first couple of days as it doesn't look like you should enter, but we were taken in by a local, so returned the next day too. It's free, obviously no talking, no flash and no phones, but people were taking pictures and respecting people praying.
Definitely worth a visit whilst you're down in the Jewish Quarter.

Second time I’ve been here, just happy to share this visit with my son, he was amazed at the beauty inside the building, truly breathtaking, the silence was awesome and just a time to sit back and take in the beauty without the hustle and bustle of the outside traffic and people

One of the most Beautiful buildings I have ever been inside of. Sit and take it all in. Even if you aren’t religious it is worth it for the architecture inside
