I have never seen something like this before. It is worth the visit. The tower provides really nice view all around the city.

Visiting the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki was my primary reason for coming to Poland. I was not disappointed. The sanctuary was established at the convent of St. Faustina, who became God's messenger of mercy not only to Poland, but to the entire world....More

We came to see the old church and ended up at mass in the newer one, lovely and airy and even if it was in Polish the feeling inside was amazing. The view of Krakow on a fine day from the tower next to the...More

This is where the movement spawned by the sainthood of Sister Faustina , a Polish had started. Witness the convent where she served , get to see visions, and the importance of it . There is a newer basilica, with many small chapels . We...More

A simple ride out from the old town on tram 8 and then a short walk. First stop should be the convent chapel with the remains of St Faustina. A small beautiful chapel . Very peaceful. Then head on to the main very modern basilica....More

We stopped by for the Divine Mercy Chaplet, but were treated to Mass and Confession (from 1 of 4 available priests). A very modern building (not to my Traditional liking) but very nice in its own way.

A Must to visit for every Catholic on his/her journey to Poland. The home of St Faustina and her message of Divine Mercy. The shrine is large and modern inside where masses are held. There is a priest hearing confessions in the back. Downstairs are...More

This modern sanctuary, very near the Convent and church where St Faustina lived and worshiped is very much worth a visit. It has a beautiful main church and lovely chapels on the lower level with many mosaics. Also noteworthy in the lower level is a...More

The altar in this church is amazing...modern yet retains magical old style, the altar is reminiscent of branches blowing in the wind...it's really lovely. The stain glass window and wooden confessionals are works of art. Well worth a visit.

I took a taxi as it was inexpensive and dropped myself and wife off right outside the entrance, he came back two hours later and took us back to the centre.

Hi. I think you will need to walk up the road to the entrance. I don't remember using steps. The road is fairly steep uphill.
