Lots of interesting places to visit within easy walking distance of each other. We were there at the end of November/early December for the Christmas markets and there was a great buzz in the main Market Square.

According to my Smart Watch, I walked 7½ miles! Most of which was spent admiring the architecture, people watching, drinking coffee and generally chilling. First visit to Poland. I will definitely be back

Krakow's old town is quite flat (except for Wawel Hill), surrounded by a lush green park, is mostly pedestrianized, and very pleasant for walking.

The old town has a lovely collection of wonderful old buildings, beautifully well kept and a joy to wander around. Krakow is quite a compact city and if you lose your bearings there are many buses or trams, plus taxis, to get you elsewhere. The opera house was gorgeous and such an interesting building. Also very interesting was the exhibition... More
