Visiting Auschwitz is nothing but a horrible experience, and that's exactly how it should be. You don't come here to enjoy yourself or to take photos to show your family back home. You come to Auschwitz to try to understand the horror of the Nazis...More

We had a great guide to the museums. You can feel the evil and suffering that occurred here not long ago.

You can't "review" this place and everyone will experience it differently. If you are in two minds about going, go. It's so important that these atrocities are never forgotten, especially with the world as it is, and you will most likely find it rewarding.

For Jewish history it's worth two hours or more. The small entrance fee is worth while. It's close to center of square

It is suitable as long as they can behave and respect what they are seeing without getting upset or be silly. If they bore easily then they may find it hard to listen for the full tour.
