If you’re in the area this place is worth a visit. Not really catering to the international tourist (however plants are labelled in both Polish and the Botanical), but that’s what I suppose made this place quiet and peaceful. There’s numerous places to set up for a picnic and it really is a nice stroll amongst some beautiful flora and see some wildlife (lots of birds, lots of frogs and even a squirrel).

The Kudypy arboretum is one of the newest botanic gardens in Poland. It is a unique object – it has the only rich collection of native tree and brush species in the country and a collection of green plants typical of Warmia forests, including around 100species of legally protected green plants, also several species which are in danger of extinction.
We have visited it during autumn. It was very nice walk. I would like to see it also during spring so I need to come back there:)

Neither outstanding nor a waste of time. Many trees are labelled but it's really just a pleasant place for a quiet walk.

This is indeed an excellent arboretum and nature center! In April when trees still do not fully have leaves and before major spring blooming bushes explode with color this place still managed to be interesting and inviting. The nature center is very informative and caters to the local trees and forest creatures. The arboretum is a lovely place to walk, relax and explore. Many interesting stations point to various areas of interest pertaining to trees like the sound they can produce. The boardwalk section of the arboretum was actively being rebuilt over the wetland. The floor of the forest was covered with carpets of lovely white and purple-blue flowers liverworts and anemones. We enjoyed our visit to arboretum and would gladly come back. The admission fee is nominal and the parking is free. The arboretum is open April 15–October 31.

Really nice charming place especially for family or romantic walks, plenty of plans and trees. Highly suggested in late spring when everything is blossoming.

A good selection of trees but not that large. Unsure if any information in EngIish which would have helped. Suspect would be more impressive when flowers are out, but not quite right season when we went. Actual forests, albeit less variety, more impressive.
