The museum is quite small considering the sheer size of the building. The collection is spread across the levels + the crypte. Although small is it well presented. When we visited there was a temporary exhibition of Ukrainian artifacts from middle age and before. It was very special.

There we very many things on display, but strangely enough it did not really show how the duke lived!

Absolutely worth a visit. There is further the old opera in the building. Sometimes concerts in the courtyard. A restaurant and a cafe available as well - and in summertime outdoor serving.

The Castle of Pomeranian Dukes is not like other old castles in Europe, decorated to the period and kept this way. Instead it houses a restaurant, a cinema and a decent gift shop. Various temporary exhibitions and displays of art take place in other rooms of the castle. In summer, concerts and opera are held in the courtyard. The Castle... More

Unless we missed it there isn't much here. Not much to see. Certainly not a castle like those in England. We were only there about 30-45 mins. Didn't pay to go up the observatory desk. Didn't see the point when been up to cafe 22 in the main town centre. Disappointing.

The castle itself is not all that exciting. For 6 zlotys you can however walk up the bell tower, and enjoy a view over the city.

Beautiful place but was unfortunately when I got to go. I went on a Monday but it was closed. Was disappointed so make sure that you check the times etc when it's opened.

I love architecture and atmosphere in here. But best of all is viewpoint tower, it is the only viewpoint not glass covered as all the rest of them have windows, here you are on top with fresh air and beautiful views, even for that itself I would recommend as it was only 1.5 euro per person to get in upstairs....
