The city that never sleeps...

As we could expect from a city with such a huge port like Gdynia. This is the main street in Gdynia, with a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. All the activitiy is here :)

Well the "main shopping street" of Gdynia. Better than a shopping mall, with many ice cream shops, nice restaurants. But sitting on terraces is not that good because lot of traffic.

Świętojańska street always promises the shoppers boutiques and the hungry cafés and restaurants. In the night time there are also also a few bars to visit. The only thing less nice is the busy trafic in the day and early evening, which is bad for any sidewalk café.

Świętojańska Street has changed over the years, in the past it used to be a perfect place for shoppers with lots of boutiques. Now it is lined with both shops, restaurants, bars and banks. Everybody will find their favourite place in the street. If you look up, you can see some of Gdynia's unique architecture - modernism.

If you like shopping it might be a perfect destination for you. In the past Swietojanska was famous and at present more and more people prefer shopping in commercials centers. You can find in Swietojanska rather mid range shops. I believe you can’t find in Swietojanska Lui Vitton and Prada.

A great wide street along which to enjoy a leisurely stroll, with a wide choice of cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well a variety of shops for all tastes. An old church and well placed statues can be missed if you're not careful.

From early '70 of XX century is the most famous street in Gdynia. A must visit place to stroll when Y are in Gdynia center. Characteristic and distinctive for this city built in the years 20-30 of XX century :). Those years was the most important city of Baltic seaside for young Poland.
